Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Shifts will be an average of 7 hours per day Mon-Fri. Site operates from 0745-2230 Mon-Fri.
You will be required to work Saturdays 1000-1600 on rotation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, suspicious activity and theft.
- Operate surveillance systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary until emergency services arrive.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered during shifts.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing the organisation.
Requirements:
- MUST be a minimum of 21 years of age .
- Be well presented.
- Have excellent timekeeping skills.
- Be able to communicate well with others and work as part of a large team.
- Must hold a valid SIA Security Guard / Door Supervisor License (minimum 2 years experience)
- Able to speak fluent English.
