Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Gatehouse operative to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts. The Gatehouse operative will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies.
Duties
- Operating the Gatehouse.
- Engage with holiday makers in a professional manner, providing assistance when needed.
- Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, utilising first aid skills when necessary.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a cohesive security presence throughout the site.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security role is required.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, from 4pm- midnight to cover back shifts.
- 4 days a week possibly more hours working needed
Requirements
- A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor
- Good communication skills
- Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English
- Be smartly dressed and groomed at all times
- Be able to have own transport or live locally
