Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Seasonal Service Assistant to join our team throughout the summer and possibly beyond. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests by providing outstanding service in a hospitality setting, including our cafe, horsebox and ice-cream parlour. This position involves assisting with food preparation, catering services, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Provide excellent guest services by welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Support food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist with catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues in various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
