School Transport Driver
We are seeking a caring and reliable part-time driver to transport special needs students in the Thanet area during school term times.
Position Details:
- Type: Part-time (School term times only)
- Salary: £250.00 - £320.00 per week (Cash or PAYE)
- Hours: 18 – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7am - 10am and 2pm - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe transport for students to and from school.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanour.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents.
Requirements:
- Valid full clean driving license (must reside in Thanet).
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- Must be of good character and reliable, ideal for semi-retired or retired individuals with flexible schedules.
Pre-employment Costs:
- Assessment driving course (£90.00)
- Medical exam (£110.00)
- Enhanced DBS check (£64.50 + £16/year for updates)
- P/H license (£265.01 for 1 year or £431.71 for 3 years)
