We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and safe for use. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient cleaning operations across all areas.
- Adhere to health and safety policies while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is desirable, although full training will be given.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering quality results.
