Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the schools throughout Brighton
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other machinery as required.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
