We are looking to recruit an outstanding School Administrator to join our wonderful staff team at St Francis School.
Starting in October 2025, or as early as possible, this is a great opportunity for you to play a key role in the progression and development of St Francis School. You will be a point of contact for parents and visitors so a friendly and welcoming manner is essential for this role. The role is all year round and there is the possibility of flexible working hours for the right candidate with working from home options available during school holiday periods.
We welcome applications from those with appropriate independent or maintained school sector administrative experience, including secondary schools. Applications from individuals with comparative administrative experience in other sectors will also be considered. This incredibly varied and busy role requires you to have the ability to manage various tasks as well as providing support to staff, pupils and parents. A high level of computer literacy is essential.
Although this is a non-teaching position all staff at St Franics School are involved in pupils ‘development and our focus on pastoral care underpins all we do and. Our Administrator will have frequent contact with pupils throughout the day.
You will be working to support the school in all areas. You will also play a key link between the school and the wider Inspired Learning Group of schools.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following;
- Liaising with parents, carers, teachers and member of the public. Responding and assisting with requests as they arise.
- Being a point of contact at the school, responding in a friendly professional manner.
- Providing administrative support to the Head and other school staff as needed.
- Attending and organising school events and meetings.
- Keeping pupil and staff records up to date including admissions, attendance and census details.
- Liaising with Marketing and Admissions at ILG Head Office
- Administrative Health and Safety across the school site.
