The role
As a Scheduler, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging engineering projects at Rosyth.
Day-to-day, you will be working within the Advanced Manufacturing Business Unit. This will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure alignment between the integrated scheduling and the companies financial and material demand (P6 – ERP/IFS).
- Resource/cost loaded schedules to inform the IBP and to provide financial status of the project
- Develop/implement and maintain the Project structures under direction from the Senior Project Planner.
- Develop/baseline and maintain the Project integrated schedule. (Level 1-3)
This role is full time working 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Scheduler:
- Knowledge of network scheduling is required. With an understanding of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project or similar network planning packages
- A working knowledge of IFS is desirable
- Good communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels
- Proactive with the ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.
- Expanded knowledge and experience in order to solve a range of straightforward problems based on analysis of possible solutions
Qualifications for the Scheduler:
- Primavera P6 knowledge on 102 fundaments and 106 advance
- Microsoft Office
- Project Management (APM) fundamentals
- Understanding /utilisation of ERP tools (IFS)
