We are a family run business seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our dynamic team based within the South Hams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A background in construction or related fields is highly advantageous.
Duties
- Assemble and erect scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety regulations.
- Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use.
- Dismantle scaffolding upon project completion, ensuring all materials are accounted for and stored properly.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow on site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Part1 Trainee Scaffolder
- Part2 Trainee Scaffolder Basic Scaffolder
- Possess a valid driving license
