Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work collaboratively on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and other related trades.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently upon project completion.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Assist in training new team members on scaffold building techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred.
- Proficiency in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
