Garolla have quickly become the largest Roller Shutter Garage Door manufacturer in the United Kingdom and due to exponential growth within the business positions have arisen for additional Saw / Factory labourers.
The role will consist of working alongside our skilled team of saw operators or door fabricators, this is quite a physically demanding role but for the right candidate can lead to a quick career progression.
The Job:
- Operating Saws:
Setting up and operating Aluminium pull saws to cut materials to precise specifications.
- Material Handling:
Loading and unloading Aluminium materials,
· Following Instructions:
Interpreting work orders, and specifications to determine the correct material size.
- Measuring and Quality Control:
Measuring cut materials for accuracy and ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Maintenance and Safety:
Maintaining saws, including cleaning, inspecting for damage. Following all safety procedures related to saw operation and material handling.
- Maintaining a Clean Work Area:
Keeping the work area organized and clean.
- Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborating with other team members, potentially communicating about work progress or issues.
- Record Keeping:
Maintaining records of daily production or other relevant information
