Taste Tradition Ltd was established in 2004 as a diversification from the family farming business. Taste Tradition Ltd specializes in the rearing and supply of Rare Breed Meat to the wholesale and catering industries, offering a niche, high quality product with a ‘gate to plate’ provenance. Taste Tradition Ltd operates from a meat cutting plant on the outskirts of Ripon.
Due to sustained growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, hardworking individual within our sausage and burger making team. Previous butchery experience is preferable but not essential, with on-site training provided for the right person.
This position would be the ideal opportunity for someone interested in the creation of food and recipes and the successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills, whilst working within the overall butchery department. Due to the fast development of the business, there is plenty of opportunity for the successful candidate to progress within the company as they learn and develop their skills.
Job Description.
Assist with Sausage and Burger production.
* Awareness of quality control and portion control.
* Working as part of a team to dispatch orders in a timely manner.
* Helping with cleaning and other general duties.
Essential Skills
Previous experience ideal but not essential.
Positive, proactive person with a ‘can do attitude’ who is willing to adapt and grow with the company.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Mon- Fri (including Bank holidays on rota system)
Own Transport will be required due to the rural location. In the ideal setting to be accessed from Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton and York.
