Foodtest Laboratories Ltd is an established and growing food and environmental testing laboratory based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
We are currently recruiting for an Administration Coordinator due to further company growth. The role is based in our busy Sample Reception area and is a mixture of desk based and hands-on work. The working hours would be Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm. The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
- Handle test items as they arrive on site (many are perishable therefore this is a time sensitive task), this includes labelling and transferring to appropriate storage conditions
- Prioritise test items for each laboratory section
- Organise test items to be subcontracted
- Process hard copy and Excel based test instructions (this includes developing use of our internal LIMS system)
- Day to day administration including handling incoming phone calls and responding to customer emails
You will also be expected to liaise with internal departments, external courier firms and customers on an ongoing basis to ensure that service levels are maintained.
GCSE/equivalent or above qualifications in Science, Mathematics and English are required for this role. Full training is provided.
Pay rates exceed the National Living Wage for the UK and the role includes 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
