Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Sales & Operations Assistant to support both our sales and warehouse operations. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on work and customer interaction. You will play a key part in assembling product components, processing orders, assisting customers, and supporting the sales manager in day-to-day tasks. This is a dynamic and growth-oriented role with expectation to learn the full sales process and progress to a senior sales position
Key Responsibilities
- Package and dispatch telephone or internet orders and process invoices accurately
- Perform light mechanical assembly of sub-components and assist with production tasks to support product readiness and order fulfilment
- Assist customers face-to face, over the phone and via email for sales, repairs and service
- Provide product information and technical support under guidance from the Sales Manager
- Inventory and Stock Control
- Assist in showroom maintenance and product displays
- Some lifting and manual handling required (up to 25kg)
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy (email, inventory and sales software, POS systems)
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity or some understanding with outdoor power equipment, machinery or mechanical products
- Current drivers licence
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in sales, warehouse, customer service or manufacturing
- Some knowledge of brands such as Honda & Briggs & Stratton
- Interest in developing a career in sales and operations
- IT software skills (MS office etc) and ability to problem solve IT issues
