Beyond this, the Enterprise UK & Ireland organization is seeking new business in the Large Enterprise, and Financial Services segments. These are the “non-telco” segments where Nokia Network Infrastructure targets significant growth, focusing on clients with a high regard for secure, robust networking to meet demanding speed, capacity, latency, and regulatory requirements.
We need experienced, technically minded, energetic telecoms professionals with a history of winning. You will be conversant with secure networking technologies (IP, Optical, legacy, OSI model, LAN, WAN) having worked for one of our major vendor competitors, or at an organization providing managed network services to the Enterprise market. This is a high touch networking vendor sales role.

- Identify business opportunities and create clear, mitigated strategies and actions to win.
- Become a trusted advisor for our customers and prospects; further develop and broaden business with existing customers.
- Work in harmony with existing and prospective partnerships to deliver for the end customer, incentivizing the partner to work further with Nokia.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including opportunity management, decision reviews, commercial negotiations in cooperation with the pre-sales and support organizations.
- Develop and maintain a solid technical background and understanding of Nokia’s complete portfolio.
- Provide regular sales forecasting and visibility into sales activity and deliver to the commitments made to the business. Meet short and long-term sales targets.
- Understand, anticipate and articulate the trends and needs of the various market segments. Combine market and competitor awareness to deliver relevant solutions to the customer.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or related field.
- Previous experience in networking-equipment vendor sales.
- Experience in account management, portfolios, solutions, and services sales in the telecommunication or IT industry.
- Knowledge in sales methodologies & techniques, with excellent questioning, challenging, and negotiation skills.
- Honest and Trustworthy, maintains high standards of personal integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all business relationships.
- Confident and charismatic interpersonal skills, ability to convince and influence others.
- Strive for high standards in customer satisfaction, quality, and responsiveness towards customers.
- Self-motivator and strong fighting spirit.
- Strong business acumen in planning and organizing, information integration, decision-making, and ability to achieve results while focusing on the customer requirements and business success.
- Experience in CRM tools (CRM / Salesforces.com) for pipeline / funnel management and MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills in mother tongue English or exceptional fluency and articulation in English as a second language.
- Frequent travel to customers (around 50-75% of time)
