Duties
- Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner and assist them in locating products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to enhance customer decision-making.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Process transactions accurately at the till, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Be prepared to go the extra mile to give the customer the best shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn is more important than experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about products and services offered.

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
