Are you an experienced administrator, looking for a new challenge?
Practice Plus Group are seeking a dedicated, organised and detailed orientated Resource Administrator to join our busy London out of Hours service delivering innovative Integrated Urgent Care.
You will be responsible for creating accurate rotas ensuring that all areas of the service are covered by both clinicians and operational staff. You will be playing a key role in arranging shifts for bank and locum medical staff using shift pattern information. The successful person will need to be able to adapt to last minute changes requiring immediate cover as well as arranging rotas on a long term basis.
As well as working with current staff, you will also be the first point of contact for new staff joining the service. You will be arranging training, inductions and collecting any outstanding documentation needed before their first shift.
Alongside your administrative duties, you will be reporting any queries and problems that arise.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage clinical and operational rotas to ensure full cover in all parts of the service.
- Maintain records with particular focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with colleagues in different teams to ensure rotas are filled to address demand in service.
- Answer any queries from clinicians or surgery’s via phone and email.
- To assist with the patient facing message handling lines during the hours of 08.00- 18.00hrs.
- Assist in optimising staffing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- To ensure clinicians compliancy and documentation records are up to date.
What we’ll look for in you
What you will need:- Minimum education – GCSE’s.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
- Attention to detail with focus on accuracy.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in use of IT software’s like Microsoft Office.
- Previous similar experience.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
