We are looking for inspirational Level 3 qualified Senior Early Years Practitioners to join the newest nursery in our group at our nursery in Castlethorpe, Milton Keynes.

Castlethorpe nursery is a lovely converted chapel situated in a quiet village a few miles north of Milton Keynes. It was the first Acorn nursery to open and was established in 1989 offering places to 36 Children. Acorn offers a range of activities during the week, including interactive story sessions and forest school. There are lovely places to visit around the village, such as the church, Castlethorpe mounds, sports grounds and parks, which the children visit regularly. The nursery has a close relationship with the adjoining school, where our Oak children visit the school library each week.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between 7:15am - 6.15pm Monday to Friday, all year round, Working primarily with the Squirrels and Oaks children who are between 2 and 4 years old

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care and learning experiences. You will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and enabling environment that encourages children to explore, discover and develop a love for learning. Working closely with parents and carers, you will help build strong relationships to support each child's individual needs.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 6 or gradual-level qualification would be desireable). You will have experience of working in an Early Years setting, a good knowledge of the EYTS framework and safeguarding procedures and a genuine enthusiasm for outdoor learning and creative play. Previous experience of leading a room or mentoring a team is desirable, as this role includes supporting and motivating colleagues and occasionally deputising for the management team.
