We’re seeking a proactive and organised Roofer to join our team and play a pivotal role in contract deliveries across the northwest.
The Role
Your role as roofer as part of a two man team with your own assistant would be essential to the day to day contract delivery. The contract is carrying out reactive maintenance in the social housing sector. There is a wider team of operatives that you may be expected to collaborate with to meet the needs of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Service delivery: Diagnose and repair roof defects to the highest standards ensuring all work is logged and documented. Applicant to have a good all around knowledge of common roof defects and the remedial actions required to carry out the repairs in a safe, clean and professional manner.
- CRM Management: Utilize our BigChange CRM system to receive, carry out and document all jobs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members to deliver a seamless service.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve scheduling challenges promptly to meet service expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous roofing experience essential. Working in a social housing setting would be preferential.
- Roofing qualification preferred.
- Driving licence Essential.
- CSCS card essential.
- Confident communicator, have the ability to speak to the tenants and back office clearly and effectively to ensure smooth delivery of the daily tasks.
- Ability to use job management software to carry out and evidence all work.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
