We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our growing Asphalt Surfacing team.
Role Responsibilities
- Preparation and laying of asphalt materials across a range of surfacing projects
- Operation of surfacing machinery, tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Working closely with other team members to ensure work is completed to the highest quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment on all job sites
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience within an asphalt surfacing squad
- Skilled in rollers and tools (e.g. Compaction plate, pounder, various sizes of rollers)
- Strong understanding of asphalt materials and modern surfacing techniques
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional weekends
