Hobgoblin Music are looking for a Musician and enthusiastic person to join it's Birmingham shop team as a Saturday person. The ideal candidate will have a very good knowledge of Acoustic musical instruments and be willing to learn about many new ones!
Responsibilities in the job will include assisting customers in the shop and on the phone in purchasing musical instruments, books and accessories.
The successful candidate for this job must have these skills and attributes:
- Friendly personable manner happy to deal with beginners to experts alike
- Good musical instrument knowledge
- Must be good communicator
- An instrumentalist to a good standard
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Attention to detail in administrative tasks
This role would be to work Saturdays (with the odd Sunday) working hours are 10am - 6pm.

- Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
