Job Overview
We are looking for a Flooring Advisor with a background in carpets and flooring to join our team. This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who is friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. You’ll be guiding customers through our product ranges, offering advice, and helping them choose the right flooring for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in the showroom in a friendly, professional manner
Provide expert advice on carpets, vinyl, laminate, and other flooring products
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable options
Take measurements or arrange for site visits where necessary
Prepare quotes and process sales
Keep the showroom clean, organised, and welcoming
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
Build trust and long-term relationships with customers
Requirements
Experience in flooring or carpet sales/advisory roles preferred
Strong product knowledge in carpets, vinyl, laminate, and flooring accessories
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Trustworthy, reliable, and well-presented
Organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable using a Card machine POS and basic computer systems
Driving licence an advantage
