Are you creative, friendly, and full of ideas? We’re looking for someone special to join our small team at Marie’s Emporium – a welcoming high street shop full of crystals, handmade gifts, personal care products, and most importantly Tea!
About the Role:
This is a varied and hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll help with everything from serving customers and packing online orders to leading fun craft workshops and creating social media content.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and serving customers in-store
- Handling till transactions and maintaining displays
- Packing online orders (Etsy & website)
- Uploading new products and writing descriptions
- Creating engaging content for our social media (photos, videos, reels, behind-the-scenes, etc.)
- Supporting and leading creative workshops and family events
- Helping plan and run seasonal activities
- Light cleaning, general admin, and shop upkeep
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
Friendly, confident, and enjoy chatting to people
Creative with crafts, displays, and content ideas
Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, and a phone camera
Organised and reliable (especially at weekends!)
Happy to work independently and as part of a small team
Bonus points if you have:
- Retail or events experience (but full training provided)
- An interest in crafts, crystals, and small businesses
