We are recruiting for our store in Battlers Green Farm shopping village, and we need a part-time retail assistant.
The successful applicant will be someone who:
- is an animal lover, and is confident working with dogs
- enjoys dealing with the public and making friends
- has a genuine interest in nutrition and animal welfare
- is friendly, professional and patient
- is capable of lifting products that weigh up to 20kg
- is capable of regularly using a flight of stairs (the store is over two levels)
- is smart and approachable in their appearance
- has good basic numeracy and excellent communication
- enjoys learning about pet products and takes pride in offering the best service and advice
The ideal candidate will have some retail or customer service experience, and be flexible in days and hours that they can work.
If the successful candidate is under 21, then the initial pay will be less than £12.40 per hour, but well over the minimum wage for their age.
Choice Pet Supplies is new to the Radlett area, and we are steadily growing. For the right person, there will be the opportunity to grow with the business.
