Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage / Restaurant Team member role based in the heart of Bristol for to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team.
The Restaurant Team member will provide high-quality food and beverage service to employees and guests within a law firm’s dining area. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a seamless dining experience in a corporate setting.
The role is a 37.5 hour a week contract and your hours will fall between 7am and 6pm over 5 days Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals, snacks, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Client Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to law firm employees and guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Order Management: Take and process orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Table Setup & Cleanliness: Prepare dining areas, set tables, and maintain cleanliness before, during, and after service.
- Menu Knowledge: Be well-informed about menu offerings, including dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues promptly.
- Billing & Payments: Handle transactions, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries professionally.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow hygiene and food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor supplies, restock items, and report shortages to management.
- Event Support: Assist with catering for meetings, conferences, and special events within the firm.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant or corporate dining service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and discretion when serving high-profile clients.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to service.
