Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic supervisor to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, effective communication, managing the team on shift and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Your ability to upsell and provide excellent guest services will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team during food service
- Ensure service is always up to standard across the team
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or culinary environment is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
