Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers and take their orders in a friendly, attentive manner
- Explain menu items and make recommendations based on the customer's preferences and dietary restrictions
- Enter orders accurately into the point of sale (POS) system and deliver them to the kitchen
- Ensure that food is served promptly and at the correct temperature
- Check on customers throughout the meal to ensure their satisfaction
- Process payments and handle any issues with billing
- Keep the dining area clean and presentable
