Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will manage reservations, greet guests upon arrival, and ensure that they are seated comfortably while providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organised waiting list during busy periods.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering guest inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable, particularly in guest services or serving roles.
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: £12.50 per hour
