Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the front of house team, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
- Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health regulations within the bar area.
Skills
- Proven experience in a bar/restaurant supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Knowledge of culinary practices related to food preparation and production is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software is advantageous.
