Job Title: Recycling & Reuse Collection Driver
Location: Derwent Recycling Centre, Wath on Dearne, Rotherham, S63 6EX
Hours: Typically Monday – Friday, 6.00am – 4.00pm
Benefits: 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance.

The role
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Recycling & Reuse Collection Driver to join our team, playing a vital role in supporting sustainability and environmental responsibility across the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect reusable items and recyclables from local Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)
Safely transport items to designated processing or reuse locations
Carry out manual handling to load and unload a range of materials
Complete required compliance documentation including those relating to waste transfer and vehicle checks
Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects
Provide excellent customer service and represent the organisation professionally
What We’re Looking For:
Full UK driving licence (essential)

The ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic understanding of health, safety, and compliance procedures
Previous experience in waste, recycling, logistics, or similar sectors would be desirable
