Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Receptionist/Reservationist to join our team in providing excellent customer service in a hospitality setting. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive. This is a zero hours contract with the potential for contracted hours.
Duties:
- Greet guests as they enter the hotel
-Check in / out in a welcoming and friendly fashion
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly
- Assist in the food and beverage and other hotel areas when required
- Provide assistance to guests with special requests or needs
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling reservations
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
