Part-time Receptionist - Redruth Office [Monday & Tuesday]
We are seeking a diverse individual to work Monday & Tuesday as the receptionist at our Redruth office. The successful applicant will ideally have some years of experience working in a solicitor's office, but other reception experience would be considered.Continuing training will be provided as appropriate.
Role Details:
- Work Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday & Tuesday, totalling 15 hours per week.
- Occasional cover may be requested (Wednesday-Friday) to cover the holidays of our other receptionist; however, this is not mandatory if you have other work commitments.
- Salary: £9,523 to £10,500 per year (based on part-time hours, 15 per week), depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist fee earners with managing case files, correspondence, and document preparation.
- Client Communication: Support professional and timely communication with clients, providing updates as required.
- Document Management: Prepare and organise essential legal documents related to matters.
- General Office Duties: Contribute to departmental tasks, such as filing, data entry, and other support tasks as needed.
- Managing the client area: Managing the interview room calendars to prevent overbooking and stocking the leaflets and merchandise in the waiting room and interview rooms.
- Post: Responsibility for outgoing post each evening, including franking, listing the post and delivery to the post office.
- Clients & Telephones: Provide a friendly first face or voice to all clients visiting or calling the Redruth office. Dealing with all incoming calls to the offices, transferring calls to the correct departments and staff, taking messages, and generally assisting clients and other professionals who call the office.
