We're seeking a full-time receptionist to join the Whiteleaf Out of Hours Reception team .
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff and service users therefore it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, you are caring and have a warm and friendly manner. You will need to be highly organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
The role works on a shift pattern of the following over 37.5 hours, worked over the following shift pattern: 06:00-14:00, 09:00-17:00, 14:00-22:00 & 22:00-06:00.
Provide professional and efficient service to staff, patients, and the public during working hours and incorporate the Out of Hours role using communication equipment and information systems during night shifts
Perform general office tasks including responding to email and phone enquiries, taking and recording messages accurately, and following Trust procedures and protocols
Operate the Trust’s switchboard, answer incoming calls, and transfer callers appropriately using provided tools
Input and maintain the Out of Hours on Call Rota system, support the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk out of hours, and ensure calls from SMS are dealt with efficiently
Undertake training in new skills required for the effective operation of the Coordination Centre and maintain those skills in line with supervision and appraisal
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
