School Receptionist - London
We are seeking to appoint a full time Receptionist to join our team. The primary focus of the receptionist role is to serve as the first point of contact for the School, offering a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.
- Type of Contract: Permanent and Full-Time
- Working Patter: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm,
- Salary: 28,000
- Start Date: ASAP
- Interview Date: Tuesday 26th
As this is in an immediate start role, and a School environment an Enhanced DBS is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that visitors are welcomed into a friendly, professional environment.
- Act as the School’s point of contact for all incoming communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Operate the School’s main telephone, transferring calls or taking and delivering messages as appropriate.
- Deal effectively with School post and maintain electronic mail systems, ensuring that information is passed to relevant staff promptly.
- Ensure that queries are dealt with effectively, taking the initiative to identify and handle issues on behalf of the leadership team and others.
- Assist the Attendance Officer with pupil registration.
- Liaise with parents and carers as necessary.
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed in regard to visitors and incoming calls.
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required.
