We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Receptionist to join our motivated team for The Quay Hotel & Spa, Deganwy. Reporting to the House Manager, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Your Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out guests ensuring all requirements are met throughout their stay and all our residents receive a first-class customer service
- Be a point of contact for our guests and answer any queries and requests, face to face or on the phone
- Manage your shift efficiently, which will involve cash handling and reconciling payments
- Answer telephone calls and emails, make bookings and send confirmations
- Make lunch and dinner reservations
- Look after group bookings
- Be able to assist other departments where necessary
- To liaise with the Duty Manager to resolve any issues that may arise on your shift
Your Profile
- Fluent in English in both speaking and writing
- Competent with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to be calm and to deal with customer requests
- Have a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent customer care & communication skills.
- Works well within a team but self-disciplined enough to manage your own workload
- Flexible to work shifts, during week days and weekends.
- You should be passionate about hospitality and be customer focused
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.77 per hour
