About The Role
We are currently seeking a Receptionist with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the team at our busy Yeovil Dental Clinic in Somerset. Our busy 5 surgery clinic offers both NHS and Private services, and has a long standing friendly team. The role will initially be on a fixed term contract ending February 2026.

Hours: Thursday & Friday 08:15 - 17:15 & Saturday 09:00 - 13:00
During your induction period you will have the opportunity to receive further training and development to get signed off as a Patient Coordinator, offering a great opportunity to progress and develop your skills. This will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
About You
You will be patient orientated with a focus on delivering excellence in all areas of the patient life-cycle. You must be reliable and punctual with a warm and welcoming manner. Customer service experience is essential and experience working within dental/medical/health care or a sales focused environment would be highly beneficial.
The main duties will include:
- Answering phones, responding to email enquiries, greeting patients
- Booking and managing dentist day lists and diary appointments
- Completing non-clinical tasks and ensuring an accurate filing management system is maintained
- Excellent patient, colleague and management journeys
- Adherence to dental regulatory and clinical administration guidelines
