Job Overview
We are seeking either a skilled and dedicated historic race car or classic car mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate would require the skills to prepare race cars for the track, and run the car and driver at the circuit. An understanding of race car suspension set ups, braking systems and tyre set ups are important, or vast experience and knowledge of classic cars. A dedicated approach and precision to achieving the highest standards are essential. Our compnay is half race cars and half classic car maintenance and restoration, we are currently so busy that a person on either side will help or a candidate who can do both would be a great advantage.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Classic car or race mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the race or restoration industry is required.
- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance tasks is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Full UK driving licence, towing experience is an advantage but not essential.
