Quality Assurance Controller – Ashford, UK – Your future position?
In relation to the overall objective of the function to assure the safety, compliance, legality and quality of our products, you will work largely unsupervised supporting the execution of the Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategy.

In this exciting role, you will:
  • Ensure Quality Management System documentation is generated, maintained, stored and archived in compliance with company internal procedures.
  • Management of internal non conformance and customer complaint investigations using problem-solving tools and techniques
  • Responsible for ongoing collection of quality metrics e.g. Complaint data, internal non-conformance data, supplier quality metrics and reporting appropriately.
  • Lead the execution of the internal audit program and subsequent CAPA process,
  • Demonstrate and be able to provide a good level of knowledge and interpretation of quality related policies, standards, procedures and requirements in daily work life e.g. reviewing business processes, improvement projects, audits, meetings etc.
  • Assess the capability of external service providers, vendors, contractors or toll manufacturers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards/requirements/contractual requirements.
  • Participate in audits of external service providers as a Lead Auditor
  • Provide quality related training to the function.
  • Induction training and subsequent training / coaching less experienced QA officers / internal auditors / staff in operations and all other site functions
  • Make batch release decisions associated to process deviations.
  • Promote quality principles and culture by working cross functionally, being visible, walking the floor
  • Participate / Lead HACCP studies and complete quality risk assessments

Your professional profile includes:
  • 2 to 4 years of work experience
  • Proficient in production methods and quality control systems and procedures in manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience of ISO9001 and EFfCI audit process requirements
  • Broad based knowledge of products safety principles, global standards as well as regulations.
  • Knowledge of labelling regulations.
