H Mart Group was originally founded in 1982 in Woodside, Queen. After a successful expansion over decades. H Mart is the largest Asian American supermarket chain, operating over 90 stores in North America as well as New Malden store in London.
The Role and day to day duties
- Create and update product labels as required, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal requirements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to labelling-related enquiries received via email from internal teams and external partners.
- Liaise with suppliers and regulatory bodies to verify labelling information and obtain necessary documentation.
- Review product labels to ensure compliance with relevant food safety and labelling regulations.
- Support the purchasing team by providing guidance on product compliance and quality requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal labelling and quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of product specifications, labels, and compliance documents.
Essential requirements
- Korean speaker preferable but not essential.
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good communications and time management skills
- Teamwork and collaboration across departments
- High attention to detail and good level of numeracy
- Flexible working approach may be required
