We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the development of young children. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage classroom activities, and demonstrate leadership skills will be essential in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and engaging environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for children and families.
Requirements
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and staff members.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
