We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Qualified Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. Duties
- Administer medications accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient interactions.
- Assist in inventory management, including the ordering and restocking of pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards within the pharmacy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medication administration and patient care.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
