The post holder will provide administrative, monitoring and research support to the SEQF project
RMBC are committed to improving the economic prospects for our tenants and residents. RMBC run employment projects that assist people to learn new skills, remove the barriers that are preventing them from working and support them to gain meaningful employment.
RMBC offers a Supported Employment service to break down the barriers to paid work faced by those with learning disabilities, autism and neurodiversity. This service follows a values-based five stage approach that includes jobseeker engagement, vocational profiling, job matching, in work support and career development.
RMBC have operated this service since July 2023 There is now an opportunity to expand this existing team and grow further capacity across the borough. This opportunity will be funded as part of the Pathways to Work commission and the Connect to work programme.
The post holder will contribute to the creation and maintenance of databases and carry out analysis to support the development of projects, policies and plans. This will include maintaining and improving existing monitoring systems, provide performance measures and develop common systems for sharing and disseminating data and information to appropriate recipients.
Working with colleagues to represent the Service on research and intelligence matters, reporting to and feeding back from internal and external meetings.
The Post-holder will assist with effective client data monitoring and reporting as required by funding and organisation guidelines, as well as supporting the planning of projects and programmes, producing appropriate material to help keep track of progress and identify the need for remedial action at the earliest opportunity.
This is extensive to both the outcome framework of the project and to the quality framework as outline by BASE.
Shortlisting and interview criteria
- Knowledge and experience of financial systems in relation to monitoring and processing of invoices
- Demonstrable experience of researching, collating and analysing information
- Previous experience of multi-disciplinary and partnership working
- Experience of organising and servicing meetings
- Able to research, collate and interpret information in relation to quantitative and qualitative data
- Carrying out research projects and analysing data
- Able to prepare briefings and reports
- Setting up and maintaining filing and storage systems for improvement programmes.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
