Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Planner to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector. This role covers planning support for multidisciplinary works, including Substations, Overhead Lines (OHL), and Underground Cabling projects.
The successful candidate will coordinate with engineering and delivery teams across Primary Engineering, Protection & Control, and Civil Engineering disciplines to develop integrated, logic-driven programmes from design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage fully integrated schedules using Primavera P6
- Coordinate planning inputs across Primary, Protection & Control, and Civil disciplines
- Monitor progress and maintain updated programmes aligned with project baselines
- Generate planning outputs such as lookaheads, critical path reports, and progress updates
- Support NEC-based deliverables, including CL31/CL32 programme updates and CE impact assessments
- Facilitate coordination between design, delivery, and client teams to manage key interfaces
- Align plans with outage schedules, commissioning windows, and regulatory milestones
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience planning Power T&D projects (Substations, OHL, or Cabling) -*Must have
- Proficient in Primavera P6 with a solid understanding of logic and critical path development
- Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and managing interdependencies
- Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contract programmes and reporting structures
- Strong stakeholder communication and programme management skills
