Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a background in Electrical Engineering and at least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will support the design & engineering team by coordinating design & engineering activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate design activities and documentation between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and design proposals.
- Ensure design & engineering deliverables meet project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design & engineering issues.
- Support in maintaining and updating design records, schedules, and reports.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure technical compliance of equipment and installations.
- Participate in design & project review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Degree/HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant Engineering subject.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a design or engineering coordination role.
- Basic understanding of UK design standards and regulations (experience in the UK preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar role is required, and candidate need to possess the capacity to learn and progress.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,880.00-£25,000.00 per year
