48 Hours - rotating days & nights. week 1 Monday - Thursday working 7pm - 7am. week 2 Monday - Thursday 7am - 7pm
Additional 20% of hourly rate paid as shift allowance for night shifts
JOB PURPOSE
Duties will include using machinery for the production of Naylor Drainage products, packing and coiling pipe. You will also maintain legible records and good standards of housekeeping. This role will include some manual work.
You will also be responsible for:
· the safety, health, wellbeing and development of employees
· the quality of service and systems
· the environmental impact of your area’s activities
· the security of the Company’s assets
DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Assist in the planning of daily schedules.
· Monitor output against actual plan.
· Minimise downtime.
· Ensure the correct availability of materials
· Ensure all goods are packed securely with identification labels.
· Ensure labour is to the minimum staffing level and utilise labour effectively and efficiently.
· Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your line manager as and when required.
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ BEHAVIOURS REQUIREMENT
· Experience in production environments
· A high regard for safety, quality, accuracy and attention to detail
· Good oral and written communication skills
