Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our finished goods warehouse as a Production Operative. This role is based in our Washington warehouse and involves consolidating full kitchen units and sundry items onto trolleys, utilising a PC, and scanning items into designated bays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Manager to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies during equipment operation.
- Follow and uphold all relevant processes and procedures in line with company standards.
- Ensure that products meet customer expectations with a "Right First Time" approach.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics environment.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering results.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, working logically and systematically.
- Proficient in IT, with the ability to leverage software and hardware effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude towards continuous learning and personal growth.
Working Hours:
The company is currently operating a trial of annualised hours. This consists a three work pattern:
Low
Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm
Friday Non working day
Standard
Monday to Wednesday 7am to 5pm
Thursday 7am to 4.30pm
Friday Non working day
High
Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm
Friday 7am to 4pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,570.00 per year
