Production Operative – (1 position available)
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join our team at our manufacturing facilities in Corsham. The role is full time and working hours are: Mon – Fri, 8am – 4pm.
The work will include, but not be restricted to:
- Order processing.
- Picking and packing orders.
- Shipping orders.
- Organising stock in bin location racks.
- Assisting in the production of CDs.
- The building of both vinyl records and CDs.
- Making a weekly delivery run in our company van.
The ideal candidate:
- Has basic IT literacy skills and is used to working with computers. (MS Office, web, cloud, etc.)
- Has the ability to accurately follow instructions and is able to learn quickly on the go.
- Is self-motivated and performance driven and can work individually as well as part of a team.
- Has a considered approach to all tasks and works with accuracy and care at all times.
- Has a full, clean driving licence and can drive our company van.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse role.
Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
The position will report directly to the Production- and Operations Managers. The role is multi-faceted and, as such, will be diverse and will allow you to experience all elements of the manufacturing and distribution process.
We are looking for people who are not afraid of hard work, have great communication skills and show real attention to detail and a desire to learn new skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
