Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production and Cultural Learning Assistant Intern to join our team for 16 weeks. This part-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the production elements of a busy arts venue and coordination of cultural learning projects. Working closely with our team, this internship will focus on supporting the planning, delivery, and evaluation of events, workshops, and community activity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the production and coordination of cultural learning projects, including workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
· Support event logistics, including venue preparation, technical setup, and audience engagement.
· Work collaboratively with artists, educators, and project partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
· Assist with marketing and promotion, including social media updates and audience outreach.
· Help manage materials, schedules, and participant communications.
· Support the documentation and evaluation of projects through photography, video, and feedback collection.
· Undertake general administrative tasks related to cultural programming.
Who We’re Looking For:
· Passionate about the arts, cultural learning, and community engagement.
· Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with a diverse range of people.
· Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
· Some experience in event production, education or a customer facing role is desirable but not essential.
· Basic IT skills, including familiarity with social media platforms and Microsoft Office.
· Ideally you will be based in Lowestoft or the surrounding areas.
