About Alivini UK
Alivini UK is one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of fine Italian wines and foods, founded in 1975. Based in North London, we serve both retail and trade clients with an ever-growing portfolio of authentic, premium products.
We are a well-established, family-run business passionate about Italian food and wine, and we are looking for a talented Product Marketing & Design Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is integral to supporting product onboarding, designing marketing materials such as brochures and POS, producing digital content, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager, who oversees and coordinates the team, including a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
Job Summary
This is a product-focused, office-based design and marketing role — ideal for someone who combines solid design skills with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to managing data. The successful candidate will contribute to product onboarding, create clear and accurate product content, and produce a range of engaging print and digital materials for sales, marketing, and customer communications.
A genuine passion for Made in Italy and its excellence in food, wine, and design is fundamental — this role is at the heart of promoting and presenting high-quality Italian products to the UK market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding of new products by sourcing key assets from suppliers, including brand logos, company profiles, product images, and technical spreadsheets (TS)
- Create and manage comprehensive product details — including technical product descriptions in natural UK English, allergens, nutritional data, vintage (for wines), region of production, pack size, and more
- Maintain and structure product information using Excel, following the structured procedure in place within the team (training provided), supporting bulk uploads to the sales programme and linked website, and ensuring consistency across platforms
- Upload and organise product content and assets (descriptions, images, technical sheets), linking it across sales programmes, brochures, price lists, and the website
- Provide design and content support to Sales Directors by producing tailored materials on request, such as company presentations or other sales tools, as well as supporting Sales Representatives with printed materials and digital assets as needed
- Use InDesign linked with Excel to generate structured, accurate, and consistent Food & Wine Guides — this process ensures precision across platforms and will be fully explained during onboarding
- Create additional marketing materials such as POS, wine tasting booklets, social media graphics, and website assets using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Revamp and refresh company assets on request (e.g. brochures, brand decks, internal documents) with high-quality design — strong creative flair and visual judgement are essential
- Ensure brand consistency across all print and digital media while working within multiple brand guidelines
- Prepare and format visual assets for both the retail and trade websites, including banners, category artwork, product visuals, and homepage content
- Execute social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) in line with the content plan provided by the Marketing Manager
- Create digital assets for email campaigns, following established structure and layouts
- Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in social media and digital branding
- Contribute to in-house product photography using our dedicated studio area (photography skills are a plus!)
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail (please include a link when applying)
- Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken) ✅
- Excellent written English (UK spelling) with attention to grammar and tone
- Willingness to use Excel as a structured product data tool — this is not an accounting role. You don’t need advanced Excel skills, but should feel comfortable handling data such as SKUs, product details, pack sizes, and allergens. Although this is a core requirement of the role, we have straightforward, easy-to-follow procedures in place, and full training will be provided. Excel is used simply to:
a) support bulk uploads to our sales programme and website, and
b) drive structured InDesign templates for our Food & Wine Guides.
- Full training on our systems and workflow will be provided.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within brand guidelines
- Understanding of social media platforms and ability to execute content plans
- Previous experience in the food & beverage or FMCG industry is a plus
- Photography and video editing skills are a bonus
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (required) ✅
- Based in or able to reliably commute to our London N4 1DN office, or willing to relocate before starting work ✅

- £26,000 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
