Overview of the role

As a Payments Product Lead, you will be responsible for driving the roadmap and delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant payment solutions - across real-time payments, ACH, SEPA, wire transfers, open banking integrations
and stable coins. You will ensure our infrastructure meets the needs of internal teams, regulators, and most importantly, our customers.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader, with deep subject matter expertise in bank transfer payments, digital ledgers, embedded payments, and bank integrations, who can both define high-impact product strategies and lead a team of Payment Product Owners to execute them.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular reporting to the Product Director as required
  • Serve as SME for payment rails (incl. real-time payments, ACH, wire transfers and digital currencies), digital ledgers, and banking and gateway integrations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of payment product owners; guide their roadmaps, support execution, and foster their development.
  • Own the product strategy for payment solutions, digital ledgers, and embedded payment experiences across multiple markets.
  • Craft OKRs that align cross-functional teams and execute the strategy.
  • Define key success metrics and actively monitor the performance of our payment solutions
  • Understand the marketplace and competitive landscape
    to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory frameworks and guidelines impacting the product
  • Conduct user research and apply market segmentation to pinpoint the unique challenges, features, and value propositions our product addresses for diverse client needs.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product management with a strong focus on payment systems and financial infrastructure.
  • Proven experience building products for bank transfers, digital ledgers, and embedded payments.
  • In-depth knowledge of global payment systems, and experience with bank integrations, transaction routing, settlement, digital ledger
    and reconciliation processes.
  • Leadership experience managing product owners or product managers in a fast-paced fintech or financial services environment.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory compliance in payments (e.g., KYC/AML, PSD2, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and managing cross-functional teams.

Diversity & Inclusion

We believe that diversity and inclusion are essential to our success. We are committed to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their background, identity or experiences. By embracing diverse perspectives and promoting equity, we aim to create an environment where all employees can perform and reach their full potential.

Additional Information

  • We work on a hybrid basis from our office in central London.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
  • Full background check will be carried out.
